This controller is very affordable and has great build quality for the price. All the triggers, bumpers, thumb sticks and buttons feel great. And the texture is very grippy which I prefer because I can actually hold on to the controller when my hands get sweaty.
I was surprised at how durable they are and how great it feels in my hands.
It is also very lightweight because there is no battery pack since it is a wired controller. I was also surprised how long the cable was as now I can lay back on my couch and play from afar even with a cable.
I would recommend this controller.

Anyone complaining about this is bonkers, I spent £60 on a xbox series s controller which lasted around 1 month until I got stick drift on the left stick which made it unplayable especially on a FPS like rainbow six siege cos I could stand still when needed so I gave my position away. I then bought the 8bit do pro 2 wired controller for around £38 pound which again after around 1 month I had the same problem, stick drift! This time on the right stick which was for aiming so then everytime I ADS my scope would just drift left again making it unplayable. I bought this controller nearly 2 months ago for less and I have no problems. For the price of the so called best controllers they are awful I’ll stick to these controllers from now on, more value for money IMO.

I bought one of these 2 years ago, and it currently has only one issue concerning the home button (which is easy to fix since the controller is very reparable). PowerA is the best 3rd party controller distributor hands down. If anyone can find a higher quality controller for the same price, I’ll eat this controller.

This controller is amazing. i read these reviews after buying and regretted it and was overthinking about the product until it came! it has been working fine and is so smooth to touch, i have no problems with this controller and honestly, don’t think i’ll ever have. all you have to do is just take care of it. don’t let it fall. that’s all i have to say! it’s easy to hold, doesn’t slip out of your hand, GREAT packaging, has a screenshot button if your lazy like me and can’t be bothered to press Y. 3.55m headset jack. sadly, even once and again, you hear this buzzing noise but it goes away after 2 seconds or so. the reviews may look like you shouldn’t buy it. but trust me, it’s worth the price if you need something cheap & simple. i bought this because my other controller was terrible and there was something stuck in the headset insterer, im very surprised how good quality this controller is i may say! very pleased, good controller over-all:) worth the money, remember not all reviews mean anything, what other people are experiencing it’s there experience. you can have a different experience with this product. i love it. and it’s totally worth the money if your looking for something cheap. also comes very quick! very pleased with my purchase 😀

If you are looking for a controller to use regularly, I would definitely just splurge for the official controller. I got this as a cheap backup controller to use for an old game with local co-op. It is fine for that purpose.

Thumb sticks have a 15% accuracy error, plus the left thumbstick has died only after a couple weeks.
There are small cuts into the rubber on the thumb sticks and it really helps keep grip when pushing them forward for a long time, but kinda useless when they are this inaccurate.
buy something better quality.

Have had several (10+) of the old design, and the deadzones ALWAYS fail. Sometimes in a month, sometimes in a day. I thought I would try this new model out hoping that the problem of horrible deadzones (that, more often than not, literally arrive off-center) had been taken care of. And lo and behold, it hasn’t. Stick drift right out of the box.
Ignore all the parents saying “Got this for my kid and he loves it!”.
As someone who has been gaming on xbox pads since the original xbox console, I can tell you this is a waste of money.

It wasn’t expensive and it replaced an Xbox 360 controller with a snapped cable for me. It feels solid enough, not going to break if you breathe on it wrong or anything. It’s comfortable to hold, if not the same way as a first party Microsoft controller. If I needed more, I’d probably buy more of them.

I’m disappointed, my last controller had a cable that barely lasted a few months before breaking at the connection point and I had to tape it shut to keep using it because the cable had to be one of their proprietary designs or it wouldn’t connect, that controller eventually lasted a year with care but the sticks ended up very loose and had drift, so when I bought this one and it arrived with no proprietary cable and seemingly overall sturdier construction I was happy. within a month I’m having issues, the left stick refuses to detect inputs to the right sometimes which is awful in a situation that requires proper movement (like dodging attacks in elden ring). The movement is also overall regularly just jittery, vibrating to the left and right and veering me off diagonally when I’m trying to go forward and maybe even just turning me around entirely away from where the input should have sent me. The controller is in shambles for the amount of time I’ve owned it and the only way it seems to temporarily fix the issues I have explained is to unplug and replug the controller, which barely fixes it for a few minutes. I have checked my drivers and they are up to date and working fine, this is an issue with the controller itself (I use this controller for PC) not sure really what to do about it except stick with it until I cant stand using it and buy a new one.
Overall I do not really recommend PowerA products, i have owned a headset in the past that was uncomfortable aswell and I doubt ill be buying from them again.

I already own a MOGA Power-A XP5-X Plus, so I know the quality of these products. I have the Series S but only 1 controller (the controller that comes with it). My buddy asked me to come over and wanted to play some games to test it out because he may get his son one. I did not want to spend $50+ on a controller because I don’t necessarily need to for the Xbox. I saw this, and figured I would give it a shot. Looks almost exactly like the controller that comes with the console. It is a good bit lighter than the wireless, most likely because there are no batteries. The controller feels good though. The chord it comes with is about 10 feet long if I am not mistaken, which is plenty long. You can sit on the couch and have no issues needing to move closer to the console/tv. The button response is very good. The rumble is a little weaker than the console controller, but that is expected. For a wired controller, this is more than enough to do what you need it to do. If you are on a budget, and need another controller, I would highly recommend getting this as either A. an extra controller for a friend to use or B. A controller to use if you’re wireless controller dies.
